Office Orientation

Getting Started
Before braces are placed, patients must visit a dentist for an exam and have any necessary fillings. Patients should visit the dentist every 6 months for a thorough examination and cleaning. Before each orthodontic appointment, patients are encouraged to brush their teeth. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided in the office.

When this certificate is signed by your dentist and you bring it in, you will receive 5 Orthobucks that you can redeem for prizes. To view prizes go to our "Orthobuck for Prizes" page under the Creative Corner section on the site.

Convenient Appointments

We try our best at Dr. Christian's to have appointments scheduled to fit your busy lifestyle. Our staff makes every effort to accommodate each patient’s schedule. The appointment to place your braces usually takes 90 minutes. You will then see us at regular intervals 4 to 8 weeks apart for adjustments (which usually take 30 minutes). We schedule longer appointments in the morning and shorter appointments in the afternoon. By doing this, we do not reserve an entire afternoon for one or two patients. Our office gets very busy after school. If you prefer to come during a quieter time, please schedule an appointment during school hours.

We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.

Treatment Time
Treatment may last from 12 to 24 months, though this will vary depending on your individual case. Appointments are typically scheduled from 4 to 12 weeks apart. Your cooperation in keeping scheduled orthodontic appointments, maintaining proper hygiene and taking care of your braces may allow you to finish your orthodontic treatment early.

In-House Orthodontic Financing
Flexible payment plans

The cost of the treatment is based on the severity of the patients’ problems. The quality of care patients will receive in our office is the highest available. This will be discussed at the initial consultation appointment. Dr. Christian has set aside an hour for this visit with NO FEE. Please call our office at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule so that we can continue offering this as a courtesy visit.

Chase Financial Option

This plan is based on an outside, interest-free finance company, Chase Health Advance financing. This financing, while based on credit history, is a "no risk" inquiry until treatment is started. Payment plans offer, 12,18, and 24 months no interest with credit lines staring at $5000. The application is done quickly and easily, receiving response within seconds approval.

In-House Financing
At the initial exam you will receive an estimate that explains our program for in-house financing and how you can make a low initial payment and extend the remaining balance in equal payments as long as the treatment lasts with NO INTEREST. Dr. Christian does not want affordability to get in the way of a healthy and beautiful smile. We will do everything we can to make this work for you!

Automatic Bank Draft
Set up your monthly payment to be automatically drawn on an agreed upon date each month from your checking or savings account. Please provide us with a voided check or deposit slip at your first appointment.

Automatic Credit Card Debit
Monthly payments will automatically be charged to your credit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Please provide us with your card information at your first appointment.

Cash Discount Option
A full payment on the day of the initial banding appointment may result in a significant discount.

Care Credit Financing
For a more flexible payment plan and your convenience we offer Care Credit. This enables you to make smaller payments over a longer period of time with minimal interest.

Insurance
We accept and file most insurance. Dr. Christian's Family Orthodontics accepts most orthodontic insurance in Southern Utah. Please provide us with your insurance information at your first appointment.

Your First Visit

We are very excited to meet new patients. From the moment you arrive at Dr. Christian’s office for this hour long appointment, you will realize that you have “Come Home To Our Office” and our first concern is your CARE. At our office we educate our patients every step of the way and you will leave our office with a full understanding of the amazing possibilities that are available with orthodontics.

You will be greeted by our treatment coordinator who will take you on a tour of our office. Next, x-rays and photos will be taken to assist Dr. Christian with his diagnosis during your consultation.
